Oil-Based Pre-Cleanser for Makeup, Sunscreen & Daily Buildup
Environ Dual Action Pre-Cleansing Oil is a lightweight, oil-based pre-cleanser designed to dissolve makeup, sunscreen, excess surface oil and environmental residue before your regular cleanser.
The concept is simple: many of the substances that accumulate on the skin throughout the day, including makeup, sunscreen and sebum, are oil-soluble. Using an oil-based first cleanse helps loosen and lift residues so your second cleanser can work more effectively.
When water is added, the oil transforms into a milky emulsion that rinses away easily rather than leaving the skin feeling coated or greasy.
How to use:
Apply Dual Action Pre-Cleansing Oil to the face and neck, then gently massage it into the skin to loosen makeup, sunscreen, excess surface oils, and daily residue. Wet your hands slightly with lukewarm water, then continue massaging; the oil will begin to form a milky emulsion. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Follow with your preferred Environ cleanser:

A multifunctional emollient and cleansing ingredient that helps loosen oily residue and contributes to the formula's elegant texture.
PEG-40 Sorbitan Perisostearate
An emulsifying agent that allows the oil to mix with water. This is what helps transform the product into a milky emulsion so that it can rinse away cleanly.
BHA — Butylated Hydroxyanisole
Used in the formula primarily as an antioxidant to help protect the oils and other formula components from oxidation. It is not the same as the skincare abbreviation “BHA” used for beta-hydroxy acid or salicylic acid.
